We have over 15 years’ experience working in the independent care sector and started the development of the e-MDS service over 9 years ago. That initial work allowed our first customer to save over £1 million by not having to implement a clinical records system to satisfy their NHS Reporting obligations.
We have now built up a great team that has allowed us to develop and improve the service whilst supporting the data collection and reporting requirements of over 450 different units & services. We provide e-MDS to some of the smallest, as well as largest mental health an social care providers and we look after over 20,000 service user records.
Crucially, each provider can use e-MDS to generate and submit the MHSDS to NHS Digital on the push-of-a-button. Our Customers were the first providers to submit the MHSDS.
We are members of the Technical User Group, who discuss the introduction of changes and additions to central data submissions; a forum chaired by NHS Digital in Leeds consisting a cross section of members from service providers, system suppliers, through to NHS England and the CQC.
We provide active support to our customers in many other areas to ensure compliance. We run IG DSPT workshops to help organisations with the development and submission of the toolkit. We conduct Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery reviews, IT-infrastructure assessments and provide advice on the process to connect to the SDCS portal.
Our Directors’ background is in Project Management. That means that if you decide to use e-MDS, the implementation process will be well planned, quick and effective.
In our view you are not buying merely a tool, but something to help you ensure you are compliant with applicable regulations and contractual requirements, whilst running a successful and profitable business. That is the main driver for our service provision, as your success, becomes our success.
